We started as Shifty Lizard Comics in Hinsdale Illinois and opened a second store in Westchester, Illinois about a year later. For about five years we were the best comic store in the Chicagoland area offering new comics, toys, videos, and back issues. Sadly we were part of the comic implosion in the early 90's and closed our doors in 1995.  Now the Haynes family is back with Shifty Lizard Cool Stuff, offering great items at reasonable prices. We hope that many of our old friends will find and contact us and that we will meet many new people as we continue the Shifty tradition of great cool stuff and fantastic customer service.
