Dakota Prairie Treasures New Product Line Offering!

Antique & Vintage Illustrations on Heavy Ivory 100% Cotton Muslin for Your Needleworking Pleasure!

Dakota Prairie Treasures is now producing Heavy Ivory Vintage Quality 100% Cotton Muslin Squares embellished with antique and vintage Victoriana/Americana in color or black and white illustrations!

This particular steel cut image is an 1873 antique Victorian black & ivory illustration measuring approximately 6.75 by 10 inches. It is of a young boy street musician playing his guitar! It is titled ''The Orphan Musician.'' Kinda gives new meaning to the old phrase ''having to sing for one's supper.'' It is a wonderfully detailed illustration of a poor Victorian boy earing his way in life with the gifts that his maker gave him. His clear uplifted gaze appears to indicate he knows this well. I imagine that the song he is sharing could be the likes of ''Oh Holy Night'' or other old classic praise for the Christmas Season. Is not this a marvelous and touching glimpse into a genteel Era's realities plus his hopes and dreams

The fabric square provided you is of heavy vintage quality 100% ivory cotton muslin and which reminds me of the lovely stuff my Grandmother and Mother used in their quilting projects in the 1920's.

Our high quality images are professionally heat transferred and must pass a stringent quality assurance inspection prior to shipment. The finished product measures about 11x11 inches. The seam allowance may vary, as per your artistic muse, from one to several inches.

The clear, sharp and nostalgic image of this new fabric block product are readily machine washable. The image area itself is firm, supple and long lasting! You will appreciate the attention taken by Dakota Prairie Treasures in providing you with a TOP QUALITY PRODUCT that you and yours will enjoy using for many years to come!

Dakota Prairie Treasures will be adding a wide variety of antique and vintage image fabric blocks from the Civil War, Antebellum, Victorian, Edwardian, Arts & Crafts, Art Deco, WWI, Titanic, Flapper and Depression Eras on a weekly basis!
