This is a wonderful pair of modern lamps from the 1960's/1970's era with great lines!!!!. Cool as they are, they are going to be a difficult to describe and because of the white lucite and mirror strip in the center, they were just as hard to photograph!!! But here it goes...as the photos show, they have a tapered base, starting at 8" wide at the bottom and narrowing to 4" at the top. The total size of the base is a little over 18" tall and 4" deep. The base is a brown mottled-color with black and appears to be an acrylic over wood. The inside of the lamps are basically hollow (makes it easy to replace nightlight bulb (C-7). Then the first triangle strip is actually a piece of mirror, it is 1 1/4" wide on each side and meets at the top of the base. The inside of the triangle is a white lucite piece, which is 3 1/4" wide at the bottom and extends up to about 13 1/2". The white area is actually a night light, as you can see in photo 7. You can have both the lamp and nightlight on or just the one of your choice. They are in great condition-one lamp has a small chip on the bottom side of one base. It is only about 1/4" x 1/2" so it's hardly noticeable. The lamps come with the original shades which are a heavy canvas-like material. They are 18" wide at the bottom and taper to 12" at the top and are 14" tall. So, the total height of the lamp is about 33". The shades are an off-white and are in very good condition, especially for age. They have a few, very minor "dents" but not noticeable. No majors tears, a little wear around a couple of edges. They could use a good cleaning, I will vacuum them real good before packing. I don't see any stains or other issues. The only real concern I have with them is that I would replace the harps as the small circular piece is loose so they "rock" a little. Course you could always just solder them back as they were originally.

I've had these in my living room for nine years and love their look, the lines...and oh so modern...but it is time for me to downsize and I've way too many lamps!!! Gonna be hard to see these go!!

Take in mind that the shipping costs is for TWO boxes, as I would like to ship the shades together and then the lamps together but if the buyer objects, I will try and get them into one box. I have learned over the years that the shades do better alone!! If they weren't the original shades or if they were in bad condition, I would feel better shipping them all together...but the final word is whatever the buyer wants!!!!
