Commodore 64-128 - 1541-1571 Alignment Disk and CD
With this disk and cd you will be able to align your 1541 or 1571 disk drives.
You do not need a calibration disk, only this disk.
Included on the disk several disk utilities and copy programs - drive aligner, disk manager, multialign, change header, clean drive, directory assistant, alignment check, alignment 64-128, adjust 1541, seq file read.
On the cd: Tuning the 1571/ The 1571 Problems/ Floopy Repair Kit/ Drive Align Docs/ Disk Drive Guide/ 1541-1571 Drive Repair Manual/ Adjusting the 1541/ 1571-1541 Service manuals/ 1541 Speed Check.
The align docs are written by a computer engineer. On the disk is a program you load and it checks the tracks and condition. You then can move the stepper motor to the correct alignment position. If your drive cannot load the program then on the cd is a program you type into your computer and then you can run it. It does the same thing.
