A lovely feminine Authentic Post Civil War Era Lady's Coat Draft Pattern for you to recreate! As you can see it has a lovely fit and drape to it and the coat tail length can be customized by you however your needlework muse desires!

"This is one of the newest patterns for a Paletot. It defines the figure in a graceful manner, and has the skirt of moderate length...This Paletot may be made in black velvet, and trimmed with passementeric guipure lace; in black cloth, and trimmed with passeminterie and grelot, or ball fringe, in drab or light Havanna cloth."
