Drafting and Plain Dressmaking

Originally Published by the Woman's Institute of Domestic Arts & Sciences, Inc. in 1915!

If you are the first to bid on this auction, using the buy-it-now option, YOU WIN! There is no chance of being outbid! DON'T WAIT!

Up for bid is a CD REPRODUCTION  of the original ''Drafting and Plain Dressmaking'' by the Woman's Institute of Domestic Arts & Sciences, Inc., during the Art Deco crafts era! This book was originally published in Scranton, PA in 1915! (Original is NOT for sale)

This HISTORIC CD Republication contains guidelines, instructions, diagrams, designs and instructional fundamentals for creating a variety of classic and stylish frocks and dresses from the WWI and pre-flapper era. There are many ANTIQUE ARTS & CRAFTS ERA designs and instructions included which you can fancy up just as much or as little as you'd like with ribbonwork, embroidery, beadwork and more! There are many unique, antique pattern guidelines, instructions and diagrams for the ultra-feminine flapper attire! Great for the folks you hare involved in the SCA and reinactment groups!

The antique and vintage fabric, thread, patterns, etc., can be found on Atomic Mall quite readily. You just have to hunt a little bit! :) Or, of course, you can utilize contemporary tools and materials found at a near by fabric, craft or hobby store…
