Up for bid is another marvelous Dakota Prairie Treasures CD Republication™ of the original needlework ''Forence Home Needlework - 1896!'' It includes instructions and photographs for delicate and dainty doilies, knitted laces, baby bonnets, knitted baby shirt, table covers, crocheted towel trimmings and more.

This item was created by experienced crochet artists from 1896 and earlier! (Original is NOT for sale)

All Dakota Prairie Treasures CD Republications™ are viewable on Windows, Mac and Linux pc operating systems!

This item is a great resource for those who are SCA members, historical reenactment enthusiasts, students of historical clothing, fiber and textile arts, etc!

This HISTORIC item contains woodcuts, designs & fundamentals for creating a variety of crochet needlework art items. There are instructions for dozens of ANTIQUE EMBROIDERY DRAFT PATTERNS with instructions and color suggestions included!  These instructions are characteristic of the crafts done by our lady ancestors during the Victorian Era! The instructions include materials used, thread type and colors, needle and hook sizes, number of spools or skeins needed, type and size of linen or cloth to utilize, etc.

I have also reformatted the doily and needlework patterns to FULL-PAGE-SIZED for your convenience! It is also easy to enlarge or reduce the size of these additional full-page-sized by utilizing the enlarge or reduce functions on the common photo copy machines!

This is the perfect opportunity to purchase your own version of another wonderful craft CD REPUBLICATION revealing our heritage from early America & European!

What a historically educational and delightful art instructional piece this is!

An excerpt:

''...the 1896 edition cnsists of descriptions of various kinds of work which come properly under this head, and which have been furnished by competent writers on this subject. The descriptions are illustrated by engravings made by our own artists expressly for this edition, and are so clear that we think little difficulty will be experienced by our readers in producing the designs in their home needle-work.''
