Mrs Beeton's Book of Needlework Abridged

Crochet Work

Originally Published - 1870!

If you are the first to bid on this auction, using the buy-it-now option, YOU WIN!! There is no chance of being outbid! DON'T WAIT!!

Up for bid is a CD-REPUBLICATION of the original ''Mrs. Beeton's Book of Needlework Crochet Work.'' This information was originally published 1870! It has been out of public circulation for over 100 years but you can have it now with all the convenience of modern computer technology! (Original is NOT for sale)

This HISTORIC CD REPUBLICATION contains 103 pages of etchings, instructions, diagrams, designs and fundamentals for creating, with silk, cotton or linen thread, delicately beautiful Irish Crochet style doilies, beaded purses, laces, edgings, antimascars and more!  You will also find many historical facts on this venerable craft and artistry!

This type of Irish Lace Crochet Doilies, using various colored threads for the different flower and leaf motifs, is all the new rage in my latest Annie's Attic catolog. Who would have thought this style of crochet is thought of as new and innovated when it really is over 130 years old!

The antique, vintage and contemporary threads, beads, purse tops, crochet hooks, etc., are available on Atomic Mall! You just have to hunt a little bit! :^)

These instructions are characteristic of the crocheted needlework done by our lady ancestors! This is the perfect opportunity to purchase your own version of another wonderful craft book revealing our heritage from early America and Europe!

What a historically educational and delightful art instructional piece this is!
