How To Make Battenberg & Point Lace

CD Republication

Originally Published - 1900!

If you are the first to bid on this auction, using the buy-it-now option, YOU WIN!! There is no chance of being outbid! DON'T WAIT!!

Up for bid is a CD-ROM REPUBLICATION of ANTIQUE VICTORIAN/EDWARDIAN ''How to Make Battenberg & Point Lace'' by Nellie Clark Brown and Published by the Priscilla Publishing Company in 1900! This is a lovely battenbery and point lace stitch and knot instruction book for the lovers of the lavish and lovely needlearts! The experienced needlecraft and fancywork artesians of the late 1800's (Victorian era) to early 1900's (Edwardian era) clamoured for this type of item and with good reason! (Original is NOT for sale)

This HISTORIC REPUBLICATION ON CD book contains many steel plate etchings, needlework instructions and fundamentals for creating the extremely handsome soft furnishings of the Victorian/Edwardian/Aesthetic periods! You will also find historical facts on the ancient art as well as various RARE and UNIQUE guidelines to assist you along the way to recreating the needleworked items of a classy and gentile society!

I have also included 12 FULL-PAGE SIZED ANTIQUE VICTORIAN BATTENBERG & EMBROIDERY doily and center piece patterns to get you started! The patterns can be quickly and easily enlarged or reduced in size using these features of the commonly available copier machines or pattern resizing tools from a craft or hobby store! :)

Here is an OLD, ANTIQUE, RESOURCEFUL AND EXCEPTIONAL Battenberg and Point Lace instructional CD REPUBLICATION. These instructions are characteristic of the fancy work done by our oh-so-feminine lady ancestors during the Victorian and Edwardian eras! This is the perfect opportunity to purchase your own version of another wonderful craft book revealing our heritage from early America and Europe!
