Andrew Shea - a well known art glass designer, inspired by molecular and architectural structures. He first studied the sciences-chemistry, biology, ichthyology-where he learned to look beyond the surface. Andrew transferred his interest to the study of fine arts and glass blowing in the early 70s. He loves the geometric shapes and crystalline forms. Andrew Shea has always thought the perfume bottle was underrated as a format for artistic expression. It has so much to offer-form, color, surface, depth, interior, and exterior. The stopper allows an interplay that isn't available anywhere else. Facets are integral to the piece; they define the form and are the entrance to the interior.
