Welcome....and Thank You for stopping by to 'take a peek' at my item for sale.

Up for bids we have a rather unusual item...an 'Old Timey' method of flying and creeping critters pest control....a Black Flag Hand Operated Sprayer.

Long before Otto The Orkin Man, people just had to take care of stuff like pest contol themselves...one method was spraying liquid chemicals by a hand operated pump/sprayer like one made by Black Flag, of course they also made the 'killer juice'.

I can remember my Granny using one in the barn to kill those pesky flies, well probably more of a deterent than an actual kill, since flies are really hard to kill.

If I remember correctly, She and Gran Pa also had one in the 'out house', along with the Sears Roebuck catalog. :-)

As you can tell from the photos, this relic has quite a bit of rust on it, but I don't see any 'rust through' holes. I haven't attempted to unscrew the top.

A great display item for 'Old Theme' restaraunts, bars, etc., how things 'Used to Be'.
