This auction is for a used Eastman Kodak #4 guillotine paper cutter with a 12" square cutting board. I'm calling it a Kodak brand based on the research of similar cutting boards listed on auction, the name Kodak is not stamped on this item. The side of the cutting bar does have the Kodak numbers: #4 R.O.C. and the number 2128 is on the bottom side of the cutter metal edge. The board is divided into 1/2" spaced parallel lines but not squared with perpendicular lines. The surface of the board is quite smooth, line grooves are shallow. Not sure if it was originally part of the board, but this item has a second ruler attached to it, and it just happens to have the name John Deere printed on it. The cutter works fine, it does stick just a little but cuts clean. Wood surface is worn and has scratches but is not gouged and does not have any slivers on the sides. The black paint is good, worn in places, not sure if it is rust you see on the cutter bar or just years of dust piled up. There are 8 places for screws to hold the board to the base, of these 8 there are only 4 screws being used, the other 4 slots have never been drilled into the board. There is also 2 bolt/nut combination on the metal base, one of the nuts is gone. Please see photos for better understanding of condition.
MEASUREMENTS ARE APPROXIMATELY 12" X 13".
NOTE: Buyers: Please, do not hesitate to ask me for an actual cost quote to your home, I am more than happy to search for the cheapest shipping possible. I will refund any postage payment made that is more than the actual cost charged by the mailing service.
