Spiral Bound Book Republication™

Originally Published c1900!

Up for bid is another marvelous Dakota Prairie Treasures Spiral Bound Book Republication™ on "Teneriffe Lace Work!" Originally published c1900! The HISTORIC item covers the gentle art of using needles and various threads (silk, linen and cotton) to make the daintiest (but also remarkably sturdy) lace for home and clothing decoration. This is a unbelievably nice touch if you have every tried to read a pattern's instructions while your hands are full of your in progress project. As an avid needleworker myself my personal experience prompted my choice of spiral binding for it's ease-of-use alone. I bet you'll love it too!

This item includes scores of patterns including round, square and edging Teneriffe lace. You can see this book will keep you busy a long time making beautiful dainty lace items for you and yours, as gifts or to sell.

"Teneriffe lace is a kind of work long known in Southern and Central America under the name of Brazilian or Bolivian lace. It is an imitation of a kind of needlework cultivated in Spain in the 16th and 17th centuries and known as "Sols" (Sun lace)."
