Short Hank Vintage Gold Rochelle Seed Beads!
These beads are circa 1940. I believe they are a size 11. There are ten - 6 inch strands for a total of 60 inches of WONDERFULLY GORGEOUS glass beads! There are approximately 18 beads per inch and means there will be a lot beads to PLAY WITH AND ENJOY!
These came from the estate of an elderly woman who made the most delightful French Beaded Flowers and jewelry! The passage of time has not degraded their lovely, unique, and ascetically pleasing appearance. I just hope to find someone who will cherish them as much as she did...
These were the type of beads used in the early years of last century for purses, dresses, hats and laces. PERFECT for repairing, restoring, or recreating the lovely beaded artistic needlework of yesteryear, whether it be beaded purses, lampshades, jewelry, appliqu , embroidery, cross stitch, beaded loom work or clothing.
