The SWAT Kats are a heroic duo who fight crime in Megakat City. Chance "T-bone" Furlong and Jake "Razor" Clawson make up the team. Once proud members of the Enforcers , they were kicked out by Commander Feral after severly damaging the Enforcer headquarters after a dangerous pursuit of Dark Kat, a master criminal. Forced to pay off their debt working at the city junkyard, they decide to fight crime their own way. Using discarded military parts and weapons from the junkyard, Chance and Jake built themselves a three-engine jet fighter known as the Turbokat. The Turbokat as well as a training area and other equipment & vehicles is stored in a secret hangar below the yard. They now patrol Megakat City as the SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron, defending it against any kind of menace that threatens the city.
Chance "T-bone" Furlong is the pilot of the Turbokat. As one of the best pilots ever, his skill with the Turbokat is unmatched. He likes to take charge, sometimes disregarding blatent danger. He is also the more physical of the two, being larger and stronger than Jake.
The gunner of the team is Jake "Razor" Clawson. Known for his razor-sharp shooting skills, he makes shots others can only dream about doing. Razor is smaller than his partner but he is more agile. He typically thinks before he shoots and always tries to find a way without violence first.
Note: The dvds may not be compatible with some dvd players.

Only one game about the SWAT Kats has been made. It is a 2-D Action Platformer which features a character select screen where the player can choose between T-Bone or Razor, a level-selection screen, a password system, and 3rd person flying sequences in the Turbokat Fighter. You start off using T-Bone and Razor and guide them through 5 different worlds of action packed excitement. Game levels are based on different episodes of the show. As you progress through the game you can increase your weapon levels and gain new weapons. Mode 7 graphics are featured in some parts of the game. A unique feature to the game is the ability to start on different levels.
Also included are 2 programs to run the SNES game on PC. I recommend getting a USB SNES controller to play this game.
