*ITEM: MILITARY SHOULDER PATCH 1st ( First ) United States Training Army Vietnam Era

*MANUFACTURER: U.S. Military through various unknown manufacturers.

*COLOR: Red, Black And White. Before 1950 the background was khaki.

*MEASURES: 3" X 2 1/4"

*CONDITION: Decent display condition. Some shuffle wear from over the years. Edges are freyed.

*USED: No. Stitch lines not found. This patch doesn't show signs of having been used.

*YEAR: Vietnam era. This army stayed on bases in the United States and trained soldiers during the Korean war and 1960's for the Vietnam conflict. The 1st Army has been around since 1918 but never partisapated in any overseas conflicts after WWI, not even WWII. The 1st Army has always been a training and contennetal U.S. protection army.
