Description

We have a cute quilted rag-style throw for you today!

This quilt is for the ANIMAL lovers.

The front is a mix of coordinating squares with dog and cat fabric with pink, purple and gold accents. The other squares are black and white paw prints, blended lilac and a gorgeous Kaffe Fassett golden fabric that picks up the ovals in the dog's ears. The back is 100% cotton fabric in a coordinating blended golden yellow. The inner layer is white flannel, making this a mid-weight throw, perfect for cuddling up under while watching a movie. The thread is 100% cotton golden yellow Aurifil thread.

The finished size is approximately 54.5" long and 40.75" wide.

This is a rag style quilt (I call them 'raggies').
That means you can see every layer's colors on the top of the quilt. The seams make the borders for each square. There are thousands of snips involved in making a rag quilt. Raggies tend to shed threads for the first six or so washings, with less and less each time. We wash and dry all of our completed handmade raggies three (3) times before we ever offer them for purchase, which takes care of the majority of the ragging.

If you know of someone who loves pets, this might make the perfect gift for them.

(As of now, this item will ship via flat rate medium priority mail box. I have no control over the shipping prices. Should I be able to find a more cost-effective way to ship, I will be sure to add it as an option.)
