This is a nice and solid Olympus Trip 35 35mm camera -- the most unknowingly under-rated classic camera ever!
Before we go on to describe the camera further, we would like to let you know that all our Olympus Trips on offer have been thoroughly vacuum cleaned (inside and out) to remove years of dust, mechanical linkages checked and/or lubricated where necessary, with NEW light seals fitted as well. So you can be sure your purchase will provide you lots of enjoyment for decades to come.
However, this is a rather special Olympus Trip, as you have no doubt noticed! The camera has been lovingly treated with Red Lizard skin covering that gives it a unique status. So with this camera, you not only get to own one of the most under-rated classic cameras ever, but also one that is rather unique as well.
But if you are not convinced what a fantastic camera this is, here's what a professional says about it >>>
'Performance is great, in some ways better than the best digital cameras. Just set it to A and shoot, not worrying about anything. No delay, no waiting for AF, no WB setting, no battery charging, no wasting time looking at the LCD after each shot, no viewfinder blackout, no nothing - just great photos. The Olympus Trip 35 has much less distortion (almost none) and seems sharper in the corners than my $3,200 Canon 5D combo. My Olympus Trip 35's finder doesn't black out at the instant of exposure like an SLR, and its f/2.8 lens is a stop faster than my Canon 17-40mm f/4L. Not bad,eh! - but hold on - I used the Trip with a very cheap print film. Heaven only knows how good the Olympus Trip 35 is with a roll of Fuji Velvia slide film!'
The camera is in very good condition for it's age with no damage -- note the clean and dent-free edges, which are usually dented on these cameras.
The lens is completely free of fungus or separation.
All the speeds and iris settings work fine on manual as well as on the automatic setting.
And how do use it? Easy -- set the lens to 'A', choose a distance setting and fire away! If there is not enough light, the camera shutter will not fire, letting you know that a flashgun is needed.
If you are familiar with vintage cameras, you will know that most of them usually have dents on the corners etc, but this one is in very good condition, as shown in the photos.
As an added FREE bonus, we have replaced the light seals where applicable -- this alone costs £15.
And as a further FREE bonus, we are including a copy of our Olympus Trip e-guide, that normally sells for £2.99! This e-guide will be emailed to you after your purchase of this camera.
And the goodies dont stop there either -- also supplied is a copied version of the official instruction manual.
As is legendary now, we are offering a FREE FILM with this camera, so you really have no excuse not go for an early morning walk and try and capture those moody, misty scenes around your neighbourhood AND keep yourself fit and healthy at the same time -- what could be better!
An excellent gift for someone you love, or why not treat yourself!
