This was ordered at the last international show. I usually try to keep my shopping to dresses under 50 bucks unless it's hot designer funky stuff, and this is a notch above, but when you see these dresses, you'll understand why I just couldn't pass 'em up. I've also taken to buying from the higher end of the hippie garb companies because the stuff is simply made better. The old "you get what you pay for" adage fits this stuff. So I have the last 2 marked down from the MSRP of $64.99 to move them.
You have your choice here of size Medium or Large in blue floral. When you make your selection I ask that you please email me within 24 hours and tell me which size you want, so I can then relist with the other sizes available.
The top, which has a great trimmed out VEE neckline is sort of what I'd call "Harlow Style", because it is gathered from the shoulders down under the bust at the empire waistline. More trim follows the under the bust. There is an added embroidered piece and another piece of that crochet trim below that.
Anyway, this dress is fabulous and you can dress it up or down.
This is a really gorgeous BLUE. There are 2 fabrics here: a dusky blue solid and then a dusky blue with a  little floral that has some muted red and some muted green in it. Sort of a patchwork style and the piecing is done vertically and horizontally, with the main piecing being done vertically. Then there are wider pieces past the knee, followed by a big ruffle in the floral pattern.
It's natural rayon, so cool water wash. Also, the dress is lined so there's no see thru where that fab trim is pieced in. The top and the wide midriff piece is heavier fabric-- it sort of feels like a heavier stone washed crepe. The piecing past the midriff is a lighter georgette (thus the lining) and this makes it swishy and flowy.
I'm including a shot of the middle back. Look at that tie!  Also, while the piecing on the front has added embroidery, the back piecing does not. It's pieced the same as the front, but downplayed-- without the tonal embroidery. I think that's best for this one. An all around fabulous "hippie" dress that you can wear at least 3 seasons.

This natural rayon has some "play" when you steam it. You'll need to hand wash in cold and warm iron press. If you need room in it, use steam in your iron. (Sometimes when Mr. Funky does laundry my rayon items get thrown in the washing machine....this is my remedy. I use steam and press and that way I get back the missing room!)

Measurements are taken with the garment layed flat and measured across the front only. Be sure to double and then subtract your own "wiggle room". However, the measurements below are taken on a dress that has been steamed. If you receive your dress and panic because it measures a full inch smaller than the listing, it's because you'll need to steam press it and steaming adds an inch. Please take this into consideration.
