What a hip new festival dress. This one, well, the quality is spot on and so are the million little details. Celebrate the Summer in this baby.
Nice colors in this one. While the company calls it brown (a bittersweet ground)...well, as you can see there are plenty of colors in this one. It's 100% cotton and is fully lined to boot. From one of my more upscale NYC companies. And you can tell because of all the little extras. MSRP on this dress is $64. Now...on to the dress...
I'm going to start at the top because it's my favorite part. And BTW, this is a size 1X.
Firstly this has lingerie straps so you can lengthen or shorten. And look at the bodice! It's criss crossed teensy soft skinny elastic which make the ruching. Not only does it have a killer look, but the ruching helps with the perfect fit on this one. There's a wee stand up ruffle running all around the top ot the front of the dress. The way the ruched "cups" are put in, the dress is a sweetheart style being a bit higher in the very center under the bust.
The back is cut square (straight across-- no dipping like the VEE in the front) and that has elastic at the top and then again, a gazillion teensy horizontal elastic rows running across. No gap with this one!
There are SEVEN tiers here on this dress. Each is attached on top but it's not tattered, but rather, over locked stitching. The seventh tier isn't a print, but it does have 2 teensy rows of ribbon running all the way around.
As you can see from the picture, this is a nice full, spinny bottom.
It's 100% cotton and also fully lined so no worries about see-thru.
The back has wide ties. Just an all around versatile dress but great for outdoor events.
MEASUREMENTS: NOTE I take all measurements with the garment flat and measured across the front. So double but then subtract your own wiggle room.
SIZE 1X
Bust: 18" relaxed and taken in the middle of the "cups". Tons of stretch on this one because of the front ruching and back elastic so stretches to 27" easily.
Under Bust: 19.5" and stretches to 21.5"
Waist: 23.5" taken at the end of the first tier.
Hips: 27" taken at the bottom of the second tier.
Length: 50" from the middle of the shoulder strap down. You can take it up or down another 6" too!

I can't get this one down shipping wise because there's lots of fabric here, it's long and lined (though it really is a nice light cotton including the lining--it's just that there's lots of it).
