~ 1967 US Open, Age 27, 9th Major Year/Age ~ 1999 Card Type ~ Standard, Holofoil Technology Condition ~ NrMt Nice card, good corners. Nice edges and no creases. See scan for a detailed condition. Size ~ 2 1/2'' x 3 1/2'' Description ~ Jack Nicklaus holds the record for the most Major Championships in the history of golf. This card is a fantastic tribute to that achievement. These cards are among the most technically complex and beautiful golf cards ever produced. Back in 1999 the Jack Nicklaus golf company produced a pack of cards that featured their new golf equipment. These packs were available in pro shops around the country. Most consumers never realized that there was a send off offer sheet in the back of the pack for this card sheet. It is not known how many were produced and shipped but it is known that they are seldom offered on the secondary market.
The card is produced on holofoil stock that is also embossed giving the card a 3-D look. The holofoil has a reflective quality and also has the name of the major in reflective background print. This is an absolute must for any Nicklaus fan or golf collector. These cards are extremely difficult to find as single cards.
