Unique and hard to find clothing for the ultra hip modern gypsies and hippies who dance to the beat of their own drum. I shop the major clothing shows on the West Coast to select the funkiest clothing I can find. Most are manufactured in 3rd world countries. I try to be selective: No child labor, and maybe pay a little more for top notch quality. I bring you only what I'd wear myself. No dusty warehouse sale stuff and I promise you, you'll never get someone's mistake! All is new with tags, hand selected by me!

A great hippie gypsy outfit and WOW look at all the elements in this one. The
color is a dark but muted rose -- it's been stone washed.
First the top has
a simple scoop neckline with a teeeny VEE below where it ties. Cute! All around
the neckline is tonal floral embroidery. Look at the piecing on this one! There
is a sort of eyelet without the holes on the right, and below that there is a
textrued boxy sorta piece, and they are separated by little fancy U trim. The
pieces are reversed on the left! In the middle, right below the bust there is a
great piece of 1" trim, floral and this has some open work. Below that the panel
is split in 3 by some nice trim, again and the little florals are running
vertically. That neato trim goes all the way around the bottom and THEN there is
point overlapping georgette pieces! One is plain and one is sort of striped in
the texture. Just the textures alone on this one ROCK! Then....the back!! It's
in 3 pieces and plain....except for those cool laces in the middle towards the
bottom. And, of course the trim and jaggedy pieces follow around the back from
the front. WHEW! You can tighten the laces as you need to! Sleeves come to just above the elbow.
The skirt
has an elastic waist with an added string tie. At the risk of totally boring you
to death, I'll tell you that all the elements and piecing found in the top are
also found in the skirt. The piecing goes around to the back, too, which you
will see in the pictures. Not too sure I've ever seen anything like this one!
Awesome!!
This is cool water wash rayon--the drapey cottony type and then the
georgette of course and that soft square like textured material--it's all rayon
but again, the majority has that drapey-cottony "hand". Just be sure to cool
water wash, like you would any treasure. If you are looking for something
special, this one is truly it. Feminine yet with that hippie gypsy twist.
MEASUREMENTS
These are roomy, but of
course to get that Nicks look you want them a pinch oversize. Please note, too:
measurements taken across the front only. Be sure and double the across
measurements then subtract out your own personal wiggle room! Also, the
measurements were taken after steaming--steaming can cause a bit of stretch of
1/2 up to 1 inch on this breathable rayon. (A nice trick to know if you ever
have a piece that sneaks into the dryer like mine do from time to
time.)
