CHAGA MUSHROOM TEA
The Chaga mushroom is a black parasitic fungus that commonly grows in northern regions on birch trees. We harvest all of our Chaga in the Forests of Northern Michigan on private land far away from the big cities, all of our chaga is responsibly harvested.
It has long been used as a folk medicine in several East European countries including Russia, where it is referred to as Chaga. It has been used for centuries for good health, immunity, metabolism, AIDS, diabetes, and blood pressure. More recent pharmacological study using Chaga have shown great effect on the treatment of diseases, influenza viruses,stomach diseases, intestinal worms, liver ailments and cancers. Our Chaga is found growing in Northern Michigan Forests. It is sun dried and broken into chunks. You can grind it down to a powder using a mortar, or just steep the chunks.
