Unique and hard to find clothing for the ultra hip modern gypsies and hippies who dance to the beat of their own drum. I shop the major clothing shows on the West Coast to select the funkiest clothing I can find. Most are manufactured in 3rd world countries. I try to be selective: No child labor, and maybe pay a little more for top notch quality. I bring you only what I'd wear myself. No dusty warehouse sale stuff and I promise you, you'll never get someone's mistake! All is new with tags, hand selected by me!

You have your choice of size small or medium. This is 100% heavy stone washed rayon crepe. The stone washing softens up the
heavy crepe giving it an incredible "hang". The color is turquoise. It's pieced and has several different textured pieces
too.
This starts with a simple scoopy neckline and buttons down the front
with pewter star looking buttons. The main middle panels on either side of the
buttons have some fabulous flowers and leaves embroidered vertically. This is
done in the same color so it's gorgeous, yet downplayed and tasteful. These two
panels taper as it goes down to the bottom. It is pieced in a VEE. The side
panels are sort of like a matte jaquard-- same washed crepe but it has a floral
texture to it. These panels are also tapered....and because of this tapering of
the center and side panels, there is an inset chikan triangle set in on either
side at the bottom. I'm showing you a close up of the piecing so you can see how
fabulous this is. At the bottom of the front pieceing, there is some fabulous
trim across the front and then the ruffle, which is a heavier georgette with a
sort of "stripe" in the fabric. The front is longer than the back.
The back
has 3 plain panels-- one large middle one and a smaller one on either side of
that. Ties on either side of the middle panel towards the bottom so you can
cinch it or wear in a simple knot. The back bottom has a straight cut.
Short
sleeves are plain.
This is one of the companies you can count of for
quality-- all the piecing and seaming is double stitched. Their work is always
top notch.
Again, this is natural rayon. This type feels like really heavy
stonewashed crepe. Like most of these hippie pieces though, you'll want to hand
wash in cool water and hang to dry. A warm iron touches them up
beautifully.
***MEASUREMENTS ***
PLEASE NOTE I TAKE ALL MY MEASUREMENTS WITH THE GARMENT FLAT AND
MEASURED ACROSS THE FRONT (unless otherwise noted)
***SMALL***
Bust: 20" from underarm to
underarm at the top seam across the front. But seriously, I know this seems big
but they really need to be roomy to look right.
Waist: 19"
Bottom:
Before where the ruffle starts is 22" across
Length: 24" from the shoulder seam down the side on the
shorter pieces and 26" on the longer front parts.
***MEDIUM***
Bust: 21" from underarm to underarm at the top seam across
the front. But seriously, I know this seems big but they really need to be roomy
to look right.
Waist: 20"
Bottom: Before where the ruffle starts is 23"
across
Length: 24" from the shoulder seam down the side on the shorter pieces
and 26" on the longer front parts.
A Final NOTE: Steaming these garments (or ironing) give me the measurements I have listed. The upshot is, if you open your package and, for example, the XL bust does not measure 23", steam or press it. It will once it's pressed. And, again, cool water wash by hand. If this mistakenly gets put in the washer and you notice shrinkage...steam it. The beauty of this natural rayon fiber is you can get most of the sizing back by simply using your steam iron. I am not stating that these should be machine washed. They shouldn't be! But just in case....that's my method for fixing my own situation!
