Rhythm Shape -- Rhythm was only issued for about 10 years (late 1940's-late1950's. It was modern for the period with a simple, flowing look. One of the most interesting features of Rhythm is the wide variety of decals and patterns that were applied to it. Rhythm was used extensively for patterns applied by the Duraprint process.
Historical Data -- Founded in 1871 by Mr. Homer Laughlin, The Homer Laughlin China Company has been owned and operated by the Aaron and Wells families since their acquisition in 1897. Homer Laughlin remains the largest domestic pottery employing over 1100 skilled workers in a 37 acre facility.
