Grandma Clarks Crocheted Rag Rugs!

17 Vintage Crocheted Rug Patterns!

CD Republication™

Originally published in 1933!

If you are the first to bid, using the buy-it-now option, you WIN! Don't Wait!

Up for bid is another marvelous Dakota Prairie Treasures CD Republication™ of the Grandma Clarks Crochted Rag Rug book originally published during the Depression Era in 1933! What could be more fun for those of use who love recreating vintage needlework than 17 Vintage Crocheted Rug Patterns from 1933 A great find for those who love the type of needlework (crochet) our grandmothers and greatgrandmothers loved to do for home decoration and comfort! (Original is not for sale)

Now you can recreate these fine rugs (with rug weight yarn, cording, bailing twine (what can I say but that I'm a Dakota farm girl! ! lol), fabric strips or even plastic bread sackscut into strips! I had several aunts who did this!) and display them in your home or give as gifts to family and friends...

If you're into nostalgia like I am you will have quite the pleasure in making rugs for yourself or others dear to your heart from these great old patterns! All pages are enlarged to the fullest extent possible for easy viewing (to regular 8.5x11 inch page size; as the original pages are quite small). All pages will be encased in sheet protectors and secured in a portfolio to protect and preserve your fine new/old patterns. I reformatted these patterns as best I could with the technology available to me. Most items are substantially better than my original. I am sure you will appreciate the care I have taken in providing as high a quality product as the original and pc technology allows. I believe this item will be used by you and yours for many, many years to come...

The ladies of earlier times put their hands to such marvelous work and now you can also! These are beautiful items and sure to delight you and yours! The instructions are based within the parimeters of the Depression Era grammerical and socialization culture. The instructions should be found to be clear and easy to follow. The experience needleworker should be capable of altering the patterns as per individual needs and artistic whim.
