One night, former villager Don cut off the head of the statue and takes it away to win favor with ruthless crime boss Khom Tuan. Ting (Boonting), an orphaned youngster raised at the temple, determines to go Bangkok and look for the lost treasure. However, Ting is forced to compete in illegal street fights. His superior skills make him a natural champion and he even agrees to throw a deadly fight when he s promised the return of Ong-Bak. Along the way, Ting (Boonting) must use his astounding athleticism and traditional Muay Thai skills to combat his adversaries to get back the Ong-Bak.<li>Tien (Tony Jaa) is trained in all manner of weird and wonderful martial art techniques, as well as how to run across the backs of stampeding elephants, make them sit and roll over and other cool stuff. He is even taught how to kill, which according to Chernang, is the final step to becoming a great leader. Once Tien has proved his physical and mental prowess, Chernang hands over leadership of the clan, and Tien embarks on his mission to track down Lord Rajsena and beat the crap out of him, and lots of other people too.
