Wikipedia defines modern usage for the term "nostalgia" as:
"a feeling, a yearning for a lost time and place". 

Many of my art prints produce this feeling as viewers recall days when they were younger and admired a now classic car or remembered the lonesome sound of a train whistle as it passed through their town.  Memories are a great way to relive our pasts and visit our old friends and family, some who are no longer available to visit with.  My desire is to bring back good memories of days now gone for those who view my art.
